Nara

This is probably the most popular spot in Nara.  This temple is called Todaiji and it is overwhelming.  Located inside is the largest Buddha statue in Japan (and possibly the world).  This place is amazing, and it even has a website.  (http://www.todaiji.org, only in Japanese)

This is the first large gate that you pass through in order to get Todaiji temple.

The next two pictures are shots of the main building.  I tried to get a picture of the large Buddha statue, but it was too dark.  I'm sure their website has a better picture.
