Daisen Garden

Daisen Garden in located in Sakai, which is south of Osaka city.  Incorporating Chinese designs, it is one the most beautiful, peaceful gardens in the area.  Next to the garden is a large park area where numerous families come for cookouts and such.  This is the kind of place that you won't read about in travel guides, but it's definitely worth the trip.

This is a shot of the main building in the garden.  Off in the distance, the building that you see is called the Peace Tower, which is located in the major park area.

These koi are enormous.  They will eat anything...including your hand.
