Asakusa

During my trips to Tokyo, I stayed in Asakusa, which is located in the north part of the Tokyo area.  These pictures are from Asakusa Kannondou Temple (7th century).  There's not much explanation needed here.  Asakusa itself was once a major commercial and entertainment city.  It has lost it past flare, but still retains this major temple as well as other spots.
